Furniture DIY reuse-BEFORE AND AFTER

HAVE BEEN REPAINTING MY BEDROOM FURNITURE, REUSING ITEMS THAT I ACQUIRED FOR FREE FROM YARD SALES AND THRIFT STORES, AND REUSING WOOD PALLETS

We will be posting BEFORE AND AFTER pictures here, updating as the projects are worked on ;)

Last update 11/27/13

CURRENT PROJECT.... THE SUPER TINY CLOSET!!

There's a nice shelf on top, I can't reach! I'm 4' 11" for goodness sakes!  hhmm what do you think I should do?  I was thinking of taking the doors off.. but then.. what would I do with out mirrors?!

CLOSET... ALMOST DONE!

CLOSET BEFORE

For now, I got some super skinny Pink Zebra Velvet hangers from Big Lots and from the 99 Cents Store....   Im going to replace the thick wooden ones with these.

I also keep my purses in there.. I hang them from hangers on the bottom right.. not sure if to keep them there or not

The 4 Drawers are cool, but full!  I need organizers inside the drawers!

VANITY PROJECT

Still in progress, my sister and I made this vanity tray.... looks so cute!
We'll be posting the steps on how we made mine on another blog post

Added the vanity tray... still needs glass put in it.

Love how it's coming along!!  so cute!!

We post many pictures of the projects' progress :)

Found this shelf in pink at a thrift store for $5.00, repainted it to match the vanity in a antique white and gold and glitter.

ALMOST THERE!

PAINT IT, PINK IS LOVELY, JUST TOO "YOUNG", AND DIDN'T QUITE MATCH THE REST OF THE FURNITURE

DIY VANITY DESK
FROM A FREE PALLET!

This beautiful CC (chanel inspired pillow) was made by a very creative girl, Wendy from Wendy Designs $17

Found the same plastic drawers at Walmart.com for $79!

My sister and I found these plastic drawers at a local thrift store for $8.00, what a great deal!

After painting it and decoupaging it with Mod Podge glue and iridescent silver glitter!

White Glue/Decoupage glue
Metallic Paint: Gold or Silver (Michaels .99 cents each on sale)
Painters tape: Home Depot
Sponge brushes: Walmart (10 for $5.00)

ANTIQUE WHITE PAINT, 1/4 my friend gave it to me for free, but you can get a sample for $5.00 at your local Home Depot or Vista Paints.

The Vanity was made out of a free wooden pallet my sister gave to me from her job
(they throw them away)
