My sister, my good Friend Erin and my beautiful God daughter, and my self had an amazing good time! we left OC around 3 or so and we took our sweet time, we stopped by rest stops and took pictures of the beach.. it was such a beautiful clear day! we also bought snacks from the vending machines where our money kept getting stuck (eventually the machine gave us extra quarters), needless to say.. we pigged out on sugar and salty snacks!
We finally made it to San Diego in less than 2 hours.. we stopped by Luigi's Pizzeria (World Famous, after being on a TV show) and ate a whole 1/2 pepperoni 1/2 mushroom large pizza.. my sister also ordered 2 extra slices on tomato pizza, who knows why!? it was good, my God daughter Bella said.. I don't know.. I took a bite and it tasted healthy.. yuk! We finished our pizza and snagged a couple of guavas from a tree they have in the back patio there.. Bella said they were sooooo good! I like the way the smell, but with all the seeds.. they are a pain to pick out of my teeth! lol
Ahhh Old town.. it was hard to find a parking space we cruised around for a while, finally a couple of mom's were loading up their kids and said they were leaving.. we snagged the parking spot!
here are some pictures of our little trip.. and yea.. we were inspired with some beautiful colors, music, and day of the day skulls and of course root beer floats and delicious candy, my sister bought me a 1/4 lb. of my favorite.. chocolate fudge sprinkled with SEA SALT! love love!!
